Krugman on the oxymoron 'reasonable Republican'

He's right, of course, when he says that its ludicrous to require one to provide examples of regressive reasonableness to prove one is not biased. That fallacy assumes there is such a creature and there is little evidence to the support it. He says of course there are those that used to be considered Republican who have uttered reasons but they are immediately denounced by the Party.

Recall this post on the worse Congress ever, and who is responsible. We don't need to blame both parties equally because they are not equally to blame, plain and simple. Granted the Democrat Party houses some doozies too, but not to the  extreme degree as the Republican. And the Progress Caucus is located in the Democratic Party, and there is no such thing in their rabid counterparts.
