Trump the snake oil salesman

This article shows how the GOP itself bought Trump's sales pitch of being an ultra-successful businessman. The facts though are quite to the contrary. But Trump is really good at selling how successful he is, even if it's the furthest thing from the truth. In other words, he's good at creating a fantasy with no basis in reality, and people want to believe in that fantasy so they accept it in good faith. But a fantasy it is, never to stand the light of actual scrutiny. And those already sold will not tolerate the reality, for it would destroy their hoped for dream.
