American hyper-capitalism breeds mass killers

Continuing this post, this article explores the topic in more detail. Filled with the fantasy that hard work and right living will provide prosperity, white men feel lonely and alienated with they can't achieve it. They blame themselves for this failure, not the corrupt oligarchic system that created their circumstances.

Mental health requires solid relationships with others, and work is a key place where we find it, as well as self-esteem through those connections. Take that away and it's a recipe for disaster, especially when they have free access to guns to make up for their debilitated and debased self-sense.

Combine that with being fed resentment and scapegoats by the likes of Dump and fantasies of killing at least temporarily give a sense of power over one's hopeless circumstances. Yet no one sees the forest for the trees as the root cause: State capitalism.
